House Party and Menu Planning


I'm hosting a small party tonight {see above link} and I'm super busy getting the house and food ready.  Although I think it will be a small gathering, I can't help but throw myself into the preparations!  I think planning a menu is all about balance: flavors, texture, colors.





If you have never tried this combination give it a chance.  
The pumpkin loaf is basically just an excuse to eat the frosting!

Finally, I'm also making a recipe of my own that I will share tomorrow because I don't have a photo!  It's my twist on the traditional bruschetta.
