Mother's Day

We were so happy to have my mom spend the weekend with us, to celebrate Mother's Day. She and Jack had quite a time together, and here are a few pictures to prove it! ;-) I am very thankful, not only for my mom and mother-in-law, but for all of the women who made a big impression on me through my life.

If you read this blog, you know how much I love food/cooking, and sometimes baking. We decided to stay at home for Mother's day, and Jay grilled for our lunch. He made marinated steak, shrimp, asparagus all on the grew. I threw in a tomato and feta salad, and we were ready to eat with our moms!

Jack has been asking for the "bat cave" so we suggested he count his coins. They counted 37.00!
The 3 & 4 year old classes sang two fabulous and fun worship songs on Mother's Day. So far, Jack loves going to Sunday school. We gave my mom tickets to a baseball game, and Jack said, "Yeah! You got tickets! Now we can all go to Sunday school!"

This is what all the excitement was about! Jack and Grandma Eileen spent a lot of time with the Bat cave.
