Gardens & Girlfriends

This week, we had the special treat of a visit from one of my college roommates. There are four of us that keep in touch, but only one lives in Michigan. Emily drove over from K-zoo, and we took all three boys to the Fredrick Meijer Gardens. If you have never visited their children's garden, you are missing out. The boys played so well together, and it was great to spend time with an old friend!

Playing in the Great Lakes. This is an above ground water sculpture that explains to the kids how all the Great Lakes flow into each other. Awesome.

They have a giant sandbox area for the boys to dig. Last time we were there, we saw a snake!
